Going away somewhere exotic? Lucky you! Husbands Pharmacy is your local travel clinic, and can offer you everything you need to prepare for your adventure. We offer vaccinations for all major diseases. There is:

 

  • No consultation fee

  • Walk-in service

  • Consultation with Pharmacist

  • Appointments Monday to Saturday

What happens in your Consultation with the Pharmacist

 

1 - Risk Assessment: An overview of activities during your trip; accommodation and where you will be exploring, eating and drinking.

2 - Antimalarials: If you are travelling to a high risk malarial area then antimalarials will be advised and a prescription and tablets provided on-site.

3 - Vaccinations: Initial courses started and/or booster shots required according to your travel destinations and previous vaccination records.

4 - Travel Advice: Food and water hygiene, first aid and safe travel.

Please bring with you your:

 

     1) Vaccinations record

A list of all the vaccinations you have ever recieved from birth onwards, including any vaccinations received for previous trips for going abroad.

 

     2) Allergies and Medicines info

Any records of substances you may be allergic to.

A list of regular medications that you currently take.

     3) Itinerary

Your full travel itinerary with the dates and locations you will be visiting or travelling through and how you will travel between them, (e.g bus/plane/boat)

Any activities you will undertake.

Husbands Pharmacy offers immunizations for the following diseases:

Please make sure:

 

  • You are feeling well on the day, in case any vaccinations are required.

  • You tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • You tell us if you cannot be injected in a particular area.

We also provide anti-malarial drugs such as Malarone, and our pharmacy is well stocked with other items you may need on your travels such as sunblock, travel kits, etc.
